The CEF of Tennessee, Knoxville Chapter includes Anderson, Blount, Cocke, Grainger, Jefferson, Knox, Loudon, Roane, Sevier and Union Counties. Curently, our local chapter is one of eight different CEF chapters in our state. Although CEF offers different ministries to children, our main focus is on the Good News Club (GNC) program that is held in public elementary schools. The GNC represents a unique opportunity to reach many children with the Gospel message. There are thousands of children in our CEF chapter area schools and statistics tell us that about 80% of them are “unchurched”. They do not have any kind of biblical foundation and they have never heard the Good News of Jesus presented to them in a clear and biblical way.

The people involved with CEF of Knoxville have a vision to start many more Good News Clubs and reach all of these children in our area with the Gospel of Jesus. This local work to reach these children is completely a work of God on a grassroots level. CEF is a non-profit ministry that relies solely on the support of God’s people. This means 100% of the financial support and volunteers are a direct result of the local efforts of concerned, burdened, and passionate people from within this local area. Are you one of them?
